Scholarship Guidelines
How to ApplyThe scholarship assistance program is open to all children who come from the single parent home.
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be a single mother or father
- You must be able to show evidence of financial need
- You must be a United States citizen
Each application must be handed in by the 4th day of each month. Each application will be reviewed by the scholarship committee. All documentation must accompany your application. A decision will be made on each application within a two week period and a determination letter will be sent by the end of the month in which you turned in your application.
To be considered for scholarship assistance, applicants should:
- Complete and submit scholarship application
- Attach income verification
- Attach copy of previous years tax return
- Attach copy of child support order. If you do not receive child support, please provide statement as to why.
- Letter of recommendation for your child ( can be from a teacher, a pastor from your church, or a coach)
Additional Information:
Each child cannot be awarded more than 2 scholarships per year. If your child has received a scholarship an evaluation process will be conducted prior to be awarded any additional scholarships. (This is done to measure the success of the program and to see how else we can help the children)
